Meet our new staff member Judy Johnson

Judy’s passion has always been health and well being. After an Associates Degree at New Hampshire College from 1978-1980 she managed her local Health Food Store in New Jersey. An avid runner and triathlete she found that by massaging her muscles before and after runs she was able to decrease her recovery time and get right back to training. She became certified in massage therapy and began working with chiropractors. Shortly after, she moved to Long Island, NY and received her massage training at The Wholistic Health Institute in Manhasset, NY now known as The College of Health Professions in Syosset, NY. in the mid 80’s. She continued working with chiropractors and at The Harrison House in Glen Cove, NY now known as The Glen Cove Mansion. She worked with clients from around the world when they stayed at the Mansion for events and conferences. Judy also cooked Macrobiotic meals for people with cancer all while raising three children. Around 2012 a persistent low back issue guided Judy to the table of a Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner. She found this energy modality to be a profoundly powerful tool combined with massage therapy in helping clientele with many different issues. When describing this Japanese energy modality to potential clientele she will tell them that energy is our essence, our life force energy. And by balancing these energetic pathways harmony is restored.
